Synod Cottage sits in Synod Inn, just inland from New Quay and Cardigan Bay. The cottage sleeps up to six guests and gives you a comfortable base for coastal days, countryside exploring and slower evenings back at the property.

There is a secure private garden, ample private parking and enough indoor space to make a longer stay feel easy. When the walking boots come off, the private hot tub and wood burner are waiting.

Two dogs are straightforward to accommodate at Synod Cottage. We can often accept more by prior agreement — for example, up to four small dogs or around three larger dogs — depending on the group and stay.

The current pet charge is £30 per dog, per stay. If you are bringing more than two dogs, contact us before booking so we can confirm the arrangement.

THE COTTAGE ITSELF

Not just dog-friendly.
Actually comfortable.

Synod Cottage has two upstairs bedrooms. Both use superking zip-link beds, so they can be arranged as a superking or two singles. A double sofa bed in the living room takes the total capacity to six guests.

You also have Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, Smart TV, wood burner, travel cot and highchair, external games room, private hot tub and ample private parking.

How many dogs can I bring?

The cottage has a secure private garden. If your dog is very small, highly athletic or particularly escape-prone, ask us about the boundary before booking so you can decide whether it is suitable.

How far is New Quay?

New Quay is approximately a 13–15 minute drive from Synod Cottage, depending on route and traffic.

Is there private parking?

Yes. There is ample private on-site parking for multiple vehicles. Mention larger vehicles or several cars when enquiring if you want us to confirm the best arrangement.

Are dogs allowed on every nearby beach?

Rules can change by beach and season. Check current signs and local guidance before visiting so you know exactly where dogs are permitted on the day.
